Miki
Miki Bagremović, sprouted sometime in 1983 as well as his brothers Žak (Jacques) and Andrija Bagremović as well as his deceased brother Kikica, resides at the same address as I do. Black locust (Hungarian high-speed-growing subspecies) by nature, the only guide I ever need, the only living thing that knows almost everything about me, including the things I don’t know myself.

Despite the rarity of Miki as a full name, he is Miki – he’s not Miroslav, Miodrag or Mihailo. He was named after Mickey Mouse (whose name we transcribe as Miki Maus). Before you ask, yes, Miki was trimmed in November 2008 and is currently recovering. The photo was taken in June 2009. I am still not sure if Miki will have any blossoms in May 2010, as he didn’t in 2009.
Miki’s favourite song is “Ne lomite mi bagrenje” by the acclaimed singer-songwriter Đorđe Balašević. His favourite line from that song is “Okanite se njih, jer sve ću da vas polomim”, which can be roughly translated as “Let them [black locusts] be, or I’ll beat up all of you!”. Despite this, Miki is not aggressive at all and he wishes all the best to everyone who visits this page.
More about Miki to come soon. Until then, he also tweets.
